The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the Combined Medical Services Examination (CMS) 2023. Interested candidates can begin applying from 18th April 2023, with the last date for online applications being 9th May 2023 until 6:00 PM. The last date for fee payment is also 9th May 2023. The exam is scheduled for 16th July 2023, with the admit card available from 26th June 2023. Results were declared on 29th July 2023, with the final results released on 8th December 2023, and marks available from 5th July 2024.
The application fee for General, OBC, and EWS categories is Rs. 200, while SC, ST, and PH candidates, as well as all category females, are exempted from the fee. Payment can be made through debit or credit cards, net banking, or E Challan.
The age limit for UPSC CMS 2023 is a maximum of 32 years as of 1st August 2023. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 1991. Age relaxation is applicable as per UPSC CMS 2023 recruitment rules.
The UPSC CMS Recruitment 2023 offers a total of 1261 posts. These include 584 posts for Medical Officers Grade in General Duty Medical Officers Sub-cadre of Central Health Service, 300 posts for Assistant Division Medical Officer ADMO in Railway, 1 post for General Duty Medical Officer GDMO Grade II in NDMS, and 376 posts for General Duty Medical Officer GDMO in various Delhi Municipal Councils. Eligible candidates must have passed or be appearing for a Medical Degree in MBBS from any recognized university in India.
To apply for UPSC CMS 2023, candidates need to complete One Time Registration (OTR). The online application process started on 19th April 2023 and ended on 9th May 2023. Due to limited examination centers, candidates are advised to apply early to get their preferred exam city.
