The Indian Airforce has announced the Agnipath Agniveer Scheme 2024, with the Agniveer Vayu Selection Test for Intake 01/2024. The application process begins on 17 January 2024 and the last date to apply online is 11 February 2024. The last date to pay the exam fee is also 11 February 2024. The exam will be held on 17 March 2024, and exam city details will be available from 7 March 2024. The Phase I result will be announced on 12 April 2024, and the Phase II exam date will be as per the schedule. Admit cards will be available before the exam.

The application fee is 550/- for all candidates, which can be paid through debit card, credit card, or net banking.

The age limit for the exam is a minimum of 17.5 years and a maximum of 21 years, with candidates born between 2 January 2004 and 2 July 2007 being eligible.

The Agnipath Agniveer Vayu scheme offers various benefits, including a life insurance cover of Rs. 48 Lakhs for the duration of the engagement period and a skill-set certificate upon completion. The scheme allows young people to serve in the armed forces for four years. Annual leave of 30 days and sick leave based on medical advice are provided. The monthly package starts at 30,000/- in the first year, increasing to 40,000/- in the fourth year, with a portion of the salary going into the Agniveer Corpus Fund.

To be eligible for the Indian Airforce Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2025, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and English, with a minimum of 50% marks in each subject. Alternatively, candidates with a three-year diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks or a two-year vocational course with non-vocational subjects Physics and Math with 50% marks are also eligible. For other than science subjects, candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks and 50% marks in English, or a two-year vocational course with 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English. The medical standard includes a minimum height of 152.5 cm and a chest expansion of 5 cm.

1. Indian Airforce has released the Notification for Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2025 Recruitment 2024. Candidates can apply online between 17/01/2024 to 11/02/2024.
2. Photo Instruction: Passport size recent color photograph (taken not before December 2023) of size 10 KB to 50 KB (front portrait in light background without headgear except for Sikhs). The photograph is to be taken with the candidate holding a black slate in front of his chest with his name and the date of the photograph taken, clearly written on it with white chalk in capital letters.
3. Candidates should read the notification before applying for the recruitment application form.
