The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced recruitment for the post of Assistant for the year 2023. The notification outlines important dates, application fees, age limits, and detailed vacancy information. The online application process begins on 13th September 2023 and the last date to apply is 4th October 2023. Candidates must also pay the examination fee by 4th October 2023. The preliminary examination is scheduled for 18-19 November 2023, with admit cards available from 7th November 2023. The preliminary results will be declared on 15th December 2023, and the main examination will be held on 31st December 2023. The marks for the preliminary exam will be available on 31st January 2024, and the mains result will be announced on 6th March 2024. The final marks for the mains will be available on 16th April 2024.

The application fee for General, OBC, and EWS candidates is 450/-, while SC and ST candidates need to pay 50/-. The fee can be paid through debit card, credit card, net banking, or E Challan mode.

Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years of age as of 1st September 2023. Age relaxation is provided as per RBI rules. The total number of vacancies for the RBI Assistant post is 450. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any stream with at least 50% marks and must be proficient in the local language of the respective RBI office they are applying to.
